my family had 3 consecutive Christmas celebrations to get everyone in!
We decided that while it is wonderful to have all of us together at once,
it was also nice to have smaller, more personal holiday times.

There was already a good amount of snow on the ground when we got to Wisconsin, but while we were there, they got another 13 inches! It was a WINTER WONDERLAND!
We spent an extended weekend in Wisconsin to have Christmas with Brian's family. As you can tell from the photos, we had a great time!
Tonight we attended a Live Nativity Presentation for the 4th year in a row. It was just as good as the preceding years, but the weather was more pleasant tonight for sitting outside.

Nathan's school Christmas program was this afternoon. The 2nd graders sang HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS, and UP ON THE HOUSETOP. Nathan seemed to really enjoy himself and was thrilled to be able to play an "instrument"!
I don't recall the name of the book, but something in it had touched him deeply.
He said he felt strongly that this year we should purchase a nativity scene to display in our yard during the holiday season as a statement of our belief in Christ. Soon after, we found one on sale...
