If you've ever been to our house then you know we are a little cramped when it comes to space. Now that we have set out some of the larger baby items again, it is even more so. The kids share a decent sized playroom which holds ALL of their toys since there isn't room in their bedrooms. Even the playroom can be cramped (and WILL be a bit more so when our newest little one joins the fun). So, we rotate some of Emma's bigger things (rice table, playhouse, etc) bringing them out one at a time so she gets a chance to enjoy them but we can still have some room to walk! Yesterday we packed up the rice table and got out her playhouse. She was SO excited! Today when Nathan arrived, Emma invited him right in. Nathan grabbed a pile of books and read to her for quite a while.
I just ran across this today and thought it was worthy of sharing, even though a little late for Easter this year.
Each year we have an Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma's house. Some years all the grandkids have been here, other years a few... Here are a some pics from previous years...
Emma got started first (her eggs were in a separate part of the yard)
Then the boys went at it (and some of theirs were much harder to find!)
This morning we colored Easter eggs. Emma liked coloring on them with crayons and letting me dip hers in whichever color she picked, but she did NOT like the vinegar smell so it was hard for her to stick with it.
Tonight Emma got to attend a special Big Sister class at our hospital. She got to tour the maternity ward, see a real new baby, see the type of room Mama will be in, plus do lots of other neat things! She was so attentive, and her usual sweet self... loving every minute of anything to do with babies!
